Anti-Freeze Booster
MANUFACTURED TO BS 5750/ISO 9002 SPECIFICATIONS
What it Does
Anti-Freeze Booster is designed to boost protection against corrosion in automotive cooling systems without having to drain the system of its existing anti-freeze fill. As the product is formulated in pure Mono Ethylene Glycol it will also enhance the anti-freeze capability and increase the boiling point of any coolant it is added to. It also helps prevent cavitation and foaming in the cooling system and in this way helps reduce overheating and improves cooling efficiency considerably. It also helps to virtually eliminate electrolytic (galvanic) corrosion, a major source of concern in today's high performance engines. The current test method used and recognised throughout the world, for determining the anti-corrosive capabilities of cooling system products, is the ASTM D3306 TEST. It is not much different from the BS 6580 TEST. In this test sequence, all the metals commonly found in the cooling system are tested, by suspending them in synthetic, chemically corrosive water to which the product to be tested has been added. All the strips of metal, hung in the water in this test are carefully weighed before hand, and then weighed again on completion of the test. Metals included in this test are copper, solder, high lead solder, aluminium, iron, steel, and brass. The product passes this test if it reduces corrosion to less than the permissible weight loss. See table below.

What it is
Anti-Freeze Booster is a unique blend of carefully researched anti-corrosion chemicals blended with buffering agents in pure Mono Ethylene Glycol and is designed for use in today's high performance engines. The product does not contain any nitrite, amine, silicate, borate or phosphate based compounds. This type of chemistry is currently used by manufacturers such as Ford, Volvo, Saab, Jaguar, Peugeot, Citroën, General Motors, Opel, Vauxhall, Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz (Diesel), MG-Rover, etc. It has been designed to be compatible with all conventional antifreezes. The product does not contain a dye and so can be used in vehicles from various manufacturers.
How to use it
Anti-Freeze Booster should be added to the cooling system once a year to augment the capability of the standard antifreeze to withstand all types of corrosion or as a “TOP-UP” whenever coolant appears low. One 375ml bottle is sufficient to treat 4.0 to 8.0 litres capacity. It is recommended that should any rust or scale be in evidence, that the cooling system first be treated with
Radiator Flush and refilled with the normal Anti-freeze. Anti-Freeze Booster is not designed to replace the standard Anti- Freeze, but only as a TOP-UP and should only be used this way.
